When I first walked into The Hummus & Pita Co. I thought to myself, when did Chipotle start
making Mediterranean food? Well they haven't. There's a new "fast casual" kid on the block
and the food is DELICIOUS!

This is what the official website has to say:

We are a Mediterranean eatery delivering authentic flavors and healthy options. With freshly baked breads, meats cooked in a traditional taboon oven, a wide variety of vegetarian options and an atmosphere that is truly comfortable, The Hummus & Pita Co. offers something for everyone.
All of that is code for fantastic food that won't make you (too) fat. Here are the basics so you
don't walk in there and act like "thatguy" who holds up the line:
  • Start it with falafel, vegetarian options, shwarma, chicken or steak.
  • Make it a pita, laffa, bowl or platter.
  • Fill it with options like grilled vegetables, israeli cous cous, chickpea salad and spanish eggplant.
  • Top it with lettuce, tomatoes, beets, spicy carrots, red cabbage and more.
  • Sauce it with tahini, shag, amber or my FAVORITE SAUCE IN THE WHOLE WORLD: harissa.
  • Get some hummus (spinach and feta or perhaps sundried tomatoes).
  • Add some sides (soup, sweet potatoe fries, pita chips)
  • Grab something to drink (maybe some carrot juice, maybe a beer)
  • Maybe dessert if you went to the gym (baklava, rugelach, almond cookies)
  • Call it a day.
The atmosphere is cool, the service is awesome and the food is great. Imaging delicious
mediterranean food, Chipotle style, and you've pretty much got the drift.

Change up your fast food routine and check out The Hummus & Pita Co. Feels find of like Chipotle, if Chipotle sewed Mediterranean food.
